I had to reinstall Facebook on my Iphone 11 recently and now when i try to upload photos on a post it says “View and share your photos and videos here” Allow access. When I click allow access I get “This feature requires photo access. In Iphone settings, tap Facebook and turn on Photos” and I get the option to Open Settings or Not Now. When I hit Open Settings there is no option to click photos – it’s just not there. My husband has the same phone and he has photos listed along with Location, Microphone, Camera etc which I have except photos – I have tried numerous things to get this back but to no avail. Any help would be gratefully received as driving me mad!!

The Facebook app is not allowed to access or use the Photos app, that’s why it can no longer upload photos. To fix this, please follow these steps:
Make sure you’re logged in your Facebook account.
Go back to the Home screen, and tap Settings.
Scroll all the way down, and then look for Facebook.
Tap Facebook.
Tap Photos.
Choose Read and Write.
That should do it.
