Howdy. So this morning I was using my phone like normal, then 30 minutes later it was at a black screen. Completely unresponsive. I plugged it in then got a quick screen of “Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Powered by Android” and got to my lock screen where I could see the battery life at 91%. After that, I unplugged it and then it crashed to a black screen immediately. For most of the day it has been unresponsive besides the occasional random boot up of the previously mentioned screen. I have been able to boot into the bios menu a few times, safe mode and normal mode both end up with the above screen then black, or just black outright.
I’m hoping I can keep information because I have loads that I need my classes.
Edit: Today, I had it plugged in just to see if I could get anything to happen. After about 10 minutes, I attempted to hold the power and volume down buttons together. After that, the charging screen came up, but appeared to have frozen just before it would show me a percentage. The phone feels like it’s warming up as it would normally charge.

When called, the phone goes directly to voicemail.

If it doesn’t vibrate, then it means it’s still powered on even if the screen is black. Can you please confirm that sending a text message to your number or calling it?

Volume up and power key brought me to the logo followed by the Verizon screen. That loaded a bit then cycled through boot-up for a few turns. After that, the screen went black and the blue light in the top left pulsates.
When the phone enters a black screen, it does not vibrate.

If you have a case on, please remove it first, and then try booting it up into the recovery mode (bios menu) by pressing and holding the volume up button and the power key together. You may release both keys when the logo shows.
If you can successfully make the phone to boot into that mode, try wiping the cache partition. you can highlight options from that screen using the volume down button and select using the power key. After you’ve successfully wiped the cache partition, select Reboot system now and see if the phone can reboot to normal mode.
Also, if the phone enters the black screen, can you feel a vibration a few seconds after the screen turns black?
