By default, smartphones don’t have “trash icon” unless you have installed one from Google Play Store.
However, if you wish to enable the Recycle Bin on your smartphone, here’s what you need to do:
1. From Home, tap the Gallery.
2. Then tap the 3 dots on the top-right corner of the screen.
3. Select Settings.
4. Scroll down to Recycle bin, then toggle the switch to turn on the feature.
Once the Recycle bin is enabled, the deleted images will stay on your phone in a certain period of time before it will be deleted forever. Other files deleted on your phone or uninstalled apps won’t be saved to the phone’s built-in Recycle bin as it is only designed for deleted images.
Note that enabling this feature does not mean that you will see a Trash icon on your phone display. If you wish to have one on your smartphone, you can check Play Store and download the Recycle bin app.
