On my phone I set up the finger print scanner for security after awhile the phone would ask to restart the phone then it quit working all together so I tried to set up the feature again and it won’t let me finish the scanning of the finger print to set it up how do I reset my Finger print feature

What’s the brand and model of your phone?
It’s possible that there’s a problem with your device’s fingerprint scanner, or perhaps it’s dirty or has smudges on it. Make sure the scanner is clean.
Also, try resetting all the settings (NOT factory reset). This will bring all settings back to factory defaults without deleting your files. After that, try setting up your fingerprint again, and closely follow on-screen instructions.
