My phone was sitting by my side on the computer desk, and all of a sudden the screen got all striped up (horizontally) and turned into a light blueish weird color. I could still see the words, apps, etc., so I restarted the phone by pressing the power button and selecting “restart.” It came up fine, but within a minute I opened a WhatsApp conversation and the same thing happened, except the phone started losing touch reaction, so it was a little more difficult to reset it. When it came back the second time, the screen got grayish/black, and the phone started tapping itself, because as the pin was prompted a lot of noises came up as though I was entering a lot of characters very fast. Next, all of a sudden the left side of the screen turned gray with very thin vertical stripes, and it stopped tapping itself.
This phone literally went crazy all of a sudden and out of nowhere, and it took on a life of its own. Now it’s just quiet. It’s only the screen, or so it seems, because when I press the power button the phone does make the sound of locking (the screen lights up into a light gray color). The charging light also shows it’s charging. I tried calling it but it doesn’t ring, and it goes straight into voicemail. I’m guessing that’s just because since I can’t enter the pin, the phone hasn’t really started up, so the SIM card is not logged into the network. I have the impression that if the screen could come back, everything would still be there… Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
