Hi, My A50 did a software upgrade today. Since then everything works but If I try and call I get no mobile network available. I did everything that My provider wanted me to. No luck. I did a factory reset. I cleared the cash. No luck. If I move my sim card to author phone it works fine. Made sure airplane mode is off. Help.

Thank you. I tried all these to no avail. I’m going to call Samsung. Thanks for the help.

You can try toggling the Airplane Mode on and off again to refresh its wireless radios including cellular network connection. If the problem persists, try these following tweaks:
1. Change Phone Network Mode
Your network mode should match what your carrier is using. GMS carriers usually use 4G or LTE. Here’s what you need to do:
> Launch Settings app.
> Tap Connections.
> Tap Mobile networks.
> Tap Network mode and select 4G or LTE or auto-connect.
2. Start your Galaxy A50 to Safe Mode
Downloaded or third-party apps can also the be the underlying causes. Turning your phone in Safe Mode will only run pre-installed apps on your device. Do these:
> Turn the Galaxy A50 off.
> Press and hold the Power key past the model name screen appearing on the screen.
> Release the Power key when SAMSUNG appears on the screen.
> Right after after releasing the Power key, press and hold the Volume down key.
> Continue to hold the Volume down key until the device finishes restarting.
> When Safe mode appears in the bottom left corner of the screen, release the Volume down key.
If the problem is corrected after the process, find the suspected third-party app/s and have it uninstalled.
3. Wipe the cache partition of your Galaxy A50.
Corrupted cached data stored in the dedicated partition of your device can also be the culprit. And ruling out this possibility will likely fix the problem. Here’s what you need to do:
> Turn off the device.
> Press and hold the Volume Up key and the Home key, then press and hold the Power key.
> Release only the Power key when the device logo screen appears.
> When the Android logo displays, release all keys (‘Installing system update’ will show for about 30 – 60 seconds before showing the Android system recovery menu options).
> Press the Volume down key several times key to highlight ‘wipe cache partition.’
> Press the Power key to select.
> Press the Volume down key to highlight ‘yes’ and press the Power key to select.
> When the wipe cache partition is complete, ‘Reboot system now’ is highlighted.
> Press the Power key to restart the device.
Then check if the problem has been corrected.
If the problem persists, you may try to restore the phone to factory default settings again.
So basically, that’s everything you need to do to eliminate the No Mobile Network error on your device.
If you have tried all the tweaks provided above to no avail, you can contact Samsung Support or visit their store for a technician to assess your device.
