Friends are calling but, I am not being notified of the call. There is not an incoming phone number being displayed or ring being heard. Folks say the call goes straight to voicemail but no message is being heard. Problem is intermittent.
Any ideas?

Hi, Velva.
Call issues are often due to low signal reception. Make sure that your phone is getting a stable signal.
If you have excellent signal on your device but still unable to receive phone calls, try these:
1. Restart your phone. Turn it off and on again to refresh its system.
Might as well check the volume settings and adjust the Volume level if needed.
2. Try to disable Fixed Dialing Setting from the Phone Call Settings.
> Head to Settings > Phone > Fixed Dialing Numbers > Disable FDN, then enter FDN PIN if prompted.
3. Turn OFF Call Barring or also known as call block, call screening, or call rejection.
> Head to Phone > MORE > Settings > More Settings… > Call Barring > Voice Call > call barring enter the call barring password and press OK to deactivate the feature.
Do Not Disturb should also be disabled. Go to Settings > Sounds > Do Not Disturb and turn off the feature.
4. Make sure as well that your Caller ID setting is enabled and call Forwarding isn’t turned on.
5. If you are unable to receive calls from a specific number, check your phone and see if the number has been blacklisted. If the number is in your block list, remove it or simply disable the feature.
6. Lastly, if your smartphone has a removable SIM card, try removing the SIM card while your phone is powered off. Check and clean the SIM card, making sure that is free of debris and corrosion. Then put the SIM card back to the SIM tray and turn the phone back on.
If all else fails, you can factory reset your phone but make sure to back up your files beforehand as this reset will delete everything from your phone’s memory.
