Please help me open up my phone.
Crashed Motorolo G5S Plus Phone
My phone stalls at initial startup, initial start screen just switches on and off incessantly, without opening to the lock screen’s fingerprint and grid facilities.
On Thursday, while I was removing some pictures and videos in order to avoid overwhelming storage, the message ‘An unknown error has occurred’ appeared on the screen. The next morning, when I switched the phone on the initial start-up screen persistently flashed on/off, while it refused to open or to switch off
until I pressed the volume and power buttons simultaneously. Then, after pressing the power button alone the phone did not open up fully, but presented a screen with a small robot laying on its back, From there a number of options are available by pressing the volume button up or down, beginning with ‘start’. Pressing the up button gives the following sequence of options: Start, Switch Tools Mode, Bootloader Logs, QCOM, BP Tools, Barcodes, Factory Mode, Power Off, Recovery Mode, Restart Bootloader.
I opted for ‘power off’, having been warned that using other options without the phone having been restored to full operating mode might risk losing stored information (and I’m not sure what has been backed up to date).
Can anyone help me, please?
Yours, Ted Brown.
