Note 9 — Receives and sends text messages
Text notification doesn’t show on top line of the home screen or display a number on the badge.
This forces a look through the contacts list to see if a text has come in.
Ran all of the following, including factory reset and the problem continues.
Can you recommend another solution set?
STEPS Taken:
running current software version – Yes
default SMS app set to Yes
notification set on to ON
app Icon badges set to ON
sound set to On at mid level
badger turned On
do not disturb set to Off
In Safe Mode notifications don’t show
Wiped cache partition
Made full backup
Perform factory reset
Ran restore
Problem continues
