I have only once been able to get this Note 9 to read my texts to me while driving. I have done the soft reset, reset the network, and emptied the cache etc.. Emptying the cache and resetting the network, worked for a few weeks and then I got the message again. “This device is not supported via Bluetooth connection.”
Its not my car, my $49 Moto X, had no problems, but my $1000. Phone has had nothing but problems. US Cellular didn’t help. They told me it was my car and not their problem. I have 2 friends with this same phone through Verizon and no problems. They even have the option of making phone calls thru WiFi. My phone doesn’t even have that button to set it. In fact when we started looking at features, they have many more than my US Cellular Note 9. Interesting!
Please help. This phone is paid off next month and I would just like the problem solved.
Yes I have the newest software update. Got it yesterday and tried connecting the phone. I can make calls but no texts. With my Moto it had canned texts in a folder and I could just tell the car to send a text using voice. I know I need to get rid of US Cellular, but I am on a company account. Not an option. Advice please.
