If you’re playing with CPU- or graphics-intensive games or apps, then it’s normal for the phone to heat up. Secondly, it depends on how long you’ve been gaming with your phone. Normally too, the phone would heat up when charging, especially if fast-charging is enabled. What’s not normal is when it becomes too hot that it would be uncomfortable to touch it. What you can do about it is close all the apps that are currently running. Hit the Recent Apps key and close all apps you can see. When charging, it’s better to keep the screen turned off so the phone won’t overheat. It’s difficult for us to know why your phone heats up as we don’t know exactly how you use it or what apps you use. But I hope this helps, somehow.
