My lg g8 thinq goes hard to wake up and also answer a call

My lg g8 thinq does not respond when waking it up. I have to push the power button various times to get to the locked screen. Also when an incoming call comes the screen house black and I habe trouble getting yo the answer call screen. Any help would be great
