It died earlier today and I have tried all the troubleshooting suggestions but nothing has worked I’ve only had my phone for less than a year.

Make sure that your phone has enough battery life. If needed, charge it for at least 30 minutes. Check as well that the phone shows an indication that it is charging. If so, do these:
1. Force Restart your phone. ( You may have done this before, but you can still give it another try).
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake (Power) button and Home buttons together for 20 seconds until you see the Apple logo.
If this trick fails to fix the problem, try the next one.
2. Restart your iPhone via recovery mode.
This option will require you a Mac or Windows computer with the latest version of iTunes installed. Connect your iPhone to the computer using the supplied USB cable, launch iTunes, and do the following:
> Press and hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons simultaneously.
> Keep holding both buttons and do not release when the Apple logo appears.
> Wait for the Recovery mode screen to display and then release both buttons.
> When you’re prompted with the options to restore or update, select Update to proceed.
iTunes will then attempt to re-install the iOS without erasing your data.
> Wait for iTunes to finish downloading the software for your device. This process may take over 15 minutes to complete. Your phone will then exit recovery mode.
You may need to repeat a force restart on your iPhone and enter Recovery mode to restore your device via iTunes.
However, if the phone will not respond at all and remains having a black screen display, then you need to visit the nearest Apple Store for them to assess your phone.
