LGAristo 2 Shuts On/Off

I have an LG aristo 2 that shuts on and off endlessly until the battery dies. This is not a battery short.  When it turns on, I see the lock screen and as soon as I swipe to unlock the screen it shuts off. As soon as it shuts off, it turns itself back on and repeat the process. Any suggestions or previous complaints of this happening? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
