LG Stylo 5 will pair via bluetooth to Subaru Forester, but the contacts will not transfer from phone.

I had a LG Stylo 4 that connected to my new 2020 Subaru Forester just fine 2 months ago.  I got a new phone (Stylo 5) and an update was installed by Subaru, but the phone will connect via bluetooth to my car, but the contacts will not transfer over to the car.  What is the problem?  The tech was able to get his phone’s contacts on my car, so I’m guessing its a problem with the new LG phone?  Thanks.
