I have an LG Aristo that last night suddenly booted when plugged in (it usually charges without starting up if it’s shut down), but thought nothing of it. This morning it was just dead. Black screen, completely unresponsive. Tried many combinations of holding down power and the volume buttons to go into recovery mode but to no avail. I also tried holding down buttons then plugging it in to my computer to start download mode or fastboot mode, but that didn’t work either. The only response I can get from the phone is that my computer sees the device as QHSUSB_BULK, then after a few seconds it auto-installs a driver and the device changes to Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 (COM3). In neither case does it show up in Explorer (I’m running Windows 10). I’ve tried manually installing LG USB drivers, but it just goes back to Qualcomm next time I plug it in. I’ve tried many ways to stop Windows from auto-installing that driver, but nothing works; it always goes through. Any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated. I’m ready to mess with all the software on the phone should that become necessary.
