Hello, Pearl.
If your phone keeps disconnecting from the network, try to delete/forget the WiFi network and then reconnect.
> Head to Settings.
> Tap ‘Network & Internet’ option.
> If you are currently connect to a WiFi network, tap the WiFi option.
> Then select Forget.
Might as well delete all the WiFi networks saved in your phone’s WiFi directory.
After that, restart your device and go back to WiFi settings to reconnect.
If you are using a mobile data and you still have enough data plan, here’s what you can do:
> Turn the Airplane Mode on for at least 30 seconds, then turn it off again.
> Toggle the Cellular Data OFF, restart your device, and then turn the Cellular Data back on.
If the problem continues, try to perform reset network settings. This will not cause data loss but all your saved networks, Bluetooth connections, and VPNs will be deleted. Thus, eliminating minor glitches affecting your network.
If you have an android phone, here’s how you reset the network settings:
> Head to Settings.
> Select System.
> Tap the Advanced drop-down option.
> Select Reset options.
> Tap ‘Reset Wi-Fi, mobile, & Bluetooth’.
> Tap Reset Settings .
After the reset, restart your phone and reconnect to your WiFi network or re-enable the Cellular Data.
For iOS devices, here’s how to perform a reset network settings:
> Go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
The phone will restart by itself after the reset. Once it is back on, reconnect to your WiFi network or re-enable Cellular Data.
If your internet source is a Home WiFi modem, you can restart or power cycle the modem and see if this fixes the problem.
Hope you will have a stable internet connection again on your smartphone.
