I tried all the methods mentioned in the OBS thread (see title), but no luck. It was working just fine till I did an OS update a couple of days back. My version of Windows is 1909 build 18363.778

Yes I have NVDIA card and I have tried out the methods described there. Looks like a dead end. I guess it’s an issue unique to my laptop.
Harold
Hey man,
Do you happen to have an NVidia GPU?
Maybe this would help: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t0AY0gUD2rE

I got the issue fixed. The solution was to change the Graphics specifications settings in Settings>Display>Graphics settings to Power saving for OBS app in Windows 10 settings.
Harold
Is that the only problem you have with your PC? If OBS was working fine prior to the update, it might be just an isolated case. I’m not sure if you can do this, but have you tried installing OBS on another machine that has the same setup as your PC?
As for mine, it’s working good. We have the same build, i’m running Win 10 Pro, using the 64-bit version of OBS.
If it’s also an issue with OBS, I’m pretty sure reinstalling it will fix the problem.

Hi Harold,
Thank you for your reply. In fact, I have tried out all the methods mentioned in https://www.easypcmod.com/how-to-fix-obs-studio-black-screen-in-windows-10-issue-5425 before posting my question. Didn’t have luck with any of those.

Have you tried reinstalling OBS?
I’m basically running the same build of Win 10 Pro as you and I don’t have any issues with OBS (see attached).
