I have a Galaxy S6 active that was working normally last night. It was at 80% charge, so I plugged it in to charge fully and went to bed. Woke up late because my phone alarms didn’t work. Picked up the phone and the screen was black. Tried powering it up while charging. Nothing. Unplugged it and tried rebooting it with volume+home+power, and nothing came up again. Screen is black and the little notification light in top left corner that usually indicates some sort of activity is not lighting up at all. Took it to a repair shop and they tested to see if the unit was receiving a charge – it was but not a lot. What would cause such an absolute quick death? Options for repair?
