During/after an update on my A6+ phone, it got stuck on the logo screen. I have pressed volume down and power button, which just restarts and takes me back to the frozen logo screen again. If I connect to charger, no indication charging or not, though I assume it is.
Does anybody have any suggestions for what else I could do to fix it?
Thanks

Ahh I see. The best option you have is to flash the stock firmware using Odin… or you can have someone do it for you if you’re not comfortable doing it on your own.
You can download the firmware from here: https://www.sammobile.com/samsung/galaxy-a6-plus/firmware/#SM-A605F

Let me ask you, did your phone complete the update? Or were you able to use your phone after the recent update?

Hey
Thanks for the reply, I could do everything as you suggested, but I am back where I started, stuck at the logo screen

Being stuck on the logo is pretty annoying as you won’t be able to turn off your phone unless it runs out of battery. But there’s a workaround on that. What I want you to try is to wipe the cache partition, here’s how you do it:
Press and hold the volume down button and the power key.
When the screen turns off, release the volume down button and press and hold the volume up and the power key together. Basically, just transfer the finger that’s pressing the volume down button to volume up when the screen turns off.
Once the logo shows, release both keys and wait until you reach the recovery mode. You can then use the volume down button to highlight ‘wipe cache partition’ and then press the power key to select it.
After doing that, press the power key to select reboot system now.
Let us know what happens after that.
