After getting updating my iPhone to the iOS 13.5.1 version my Snapchat app started crashing on a daily basis and I would have to delete the app and then reinstall it to continue using it. Now my Facetime no longer works either. As soon as you try to place a call it may ring once or twice, but no picture of myself or the person I’m calling ever comes up on the screen. The camera works fine (both the front and back) so there must be some sort of bug in the operating system. I just updated to iOS 13.6 last night hoping that would fix the issue but no luck. Any one have any thoughts of ideas? I’ve already done all of the soft and hard rebooting techniques several times, tried deleting the apps and reinstalling them multiple times, tried the reset network settings.

Facetime is a core service or app. Unlike Snapchat, you cannot just uninstall and reinstall it. We really can’t provide you with a definite answer to this problem, but since you’ve already done almost all basic troubleshooting procedures, you may want to try doing the factory reset. It will delete all your files and information so make sure to create a backup.
Maybe that would help.
