I just dropped my Samsung J7 Duos while it was attached to a charging cable. Now it will not turn on or do anything. The screen is black. Intermittently the phone vibrates and there is a flash on the right hand side of the screen but that is all. I have tried calling it and it goes straight to my provider’s answering service, it does not ring. The screen is not cracked. There was about 30% charge in the phone.

Hi,
If there is an indication that the phone is turned on, it might be a screen issue due to what happened. It may need some assistance from an onsite technician at the nearest service center in your area already.
But there are few things that you can try on your end before going there. Try performing a soft reset or a forced reboot. Just press and hold the volume down button and power keys together for at least 15 seconds. If this doesn’t work, try performing a boot up in safe mode. Press and hold the volume down button and power keys for up to 20 or 30 seconds. If you’ll see the Samsung logo, release the power key but keep on pressing the volume down button. The normal reboot process will continue.
I hope this helps.
