Brand new Fitbit Charge 3 purchased today (July 26, 2020). Charged it fully as recommended, installed app on my Samsung S10e. App notified me of a firmware update for the Charge 3. Selected update, but kept getting the same questions about Charge 3 being charged, internet on and phone near the tracker. All those things were accomplished, however, update would not start. Just kept reverting back to this questions.
I read this message board’s suggestions to get the phone and Charge 3 synced, and the first step was to restart the Charge 3. The Charge 3 does not restart no matter how long I hold the button on the side down (1 sec, 5 sec, 10 sec, etc.). And the Charge 3 screen just keeps scrolling the message “www.fitbit.com.setup”. The only other thing I see on the Charge 3 screen is the battery level when I reconnect the charger.
So I have not found any help with this particular problem with the Charge 3.
