Can my touch screen/keyboard keys be fixed without a factory reset?

My old phone still has my old photos, including a good friend of mine who passed away. The touch screen and most of the keyboard keys are not working. I can get into the camera but not the gallery. It comes up on the bottom right hand corner but I cannot get in. I cannot access my photos. Can the touch screen be fixed without doing a factory reset? I cannot lose those photos
